Fundraising Tip of the Week: Use Your Tax Return!

Just a week ago, people all over were scrambling to get their taxes into the Federal and State governments by the April 15 deadline. Now, everyone is eagerly checking their bank accounts to see when that glorious tax return will be happily placed back in our hands (and wallets). While you are gearing up to ask everyone you know to fork over some donations in the name of a great cause, why not set the bar high and make a self-donation...of some (or all) of your tax return?!

Chances are you usually use this money on a purchase you wouldn't otherwise make, but by donating to your Audi Best Buddies Challenge fund, you will inspire your donors to follow your lead and make substantial donations. This might even be the donation that brings you up to the next highest fundraising level (an extra ticket to the party? pass to the VIP post-ride bash?). It's a great way to jumpstart your fundraising and shows your continuing dedication to the Best Buddies mission.
